The driver left seconds before my husband and I reached the pick up point. Great! As my husband and I raced through the neighbouring hotel and reached the hotel we were being picked up from I received another call from the driver telling me he couldn't wait any longer, we were 5 minutes, bearing in mind the trip organisers failed to let me know of the earlier pick up time. I rang the number given for the driver and explained the situation and that I was on my way immediately. My husband and I got up early, went to go to breakfast and at 7.18am I received an sms telling me the pick up would be at 7.15am.
I assumed the pick up time would be at 8am as stated on the initial confirmation email. The email with the pick up time never arrived in my inbox as I checked late the night before and early on the morning of the trip. I received a confirmation email of the booking stating the date and pick location and that the time of pick up would be sent the night before the trip.
